> security breaker, home lab hoarder, occasional educator

I've spent 17+ years in cybersecurity — building defenses, tearing them apart, and leading teams who do both. I hold a Master's in Cybersecurity from Georgia Tech, where I also teach the next generation how to think like attackers and defenders.

Outside of work, I run a home lab that my beautiful wife politely tolerates, flash firmware on anything with a chip, and convince myself that "one more device" is a perfectly rational purchase. When I'm not behind a screen, I'm logging miles across the city, walking with my dogs or just grabbing a cold beer around the city :)

Beyond the Console

🏠
Home Lab Hoarder

Self-hosted everything — security cameras, pfSense firewalls, Home Assistant automations. The electricity bill is a feature, not a bug.

🎓
Educator (by choice)

Associate Instructor at Georgia Tech. I build labs where students intercept live traffic, break things, and learn why "admin/admin" is never okay.

Street Runner

You'll find me running across the city most days of the week. It's my reset button — and the only time no one asks me about firewalls.

🐕
Corgi Dad

Two corgis who believe they run the house — and honestly, they're not wrong. They provide excellent supervision during home lab sessions.

🔧
Maker & Tinkerer

Flashing Sonoff switches, poking at things with a Flipper Zero, running local AI with Ollama — if it has a chip, it's getting hacked on.
